I developed this series for my children as part of my parenting plan so that I had a record of who they genuinely were as unique individuals. This book allowed me to document our specific needs and wants, as well as collate all the information about them (including their likes and dislikes too) in a simple and organized way.
Using the books allowed me to regain some peace of mind from having to constantly repeat myself when I was face to face with yet again another professional who would be working with my children.
This series also includes a “This is Me” book for parents too so that we could share who we were and what we wanted and needed for our children. This could be read on behalf of, or by the children, should we suddenly pass away or be unavailable for them. I believe until we each learn about who we are residing within a family, it’s more difficult to have compassion towards each other and build a successful flowing life.
Because of the success that we had achieved using these books with our children, I was also asked if I could include a book for the elderly that sometimes struggle to have their needs properly communicated as well – I have included this book as a bonus for you too at no extra charge.
